Walking Iris Neomarica northiana
Common Names: Walking Iris, Apostle Plant
Species: Neomarica northiana
Family: IRIDACEAE
The white, blue and brown flower of the Walking Iris. After flowering the weight of the new plantlet its produces off the flowering stem causes the stem to bend towards the ground where the new plantlet can take root, this is where the common name of Walking Iris comes from.
