Clivia miniata Orange Flowers

Family: AMARYLLIDACEAE
Clivia miniata flowers come in colours ranging from creamy whites to red, although this orange cultivar is the most commonly seem here in Australia. The flowers have a faint but pleasant scent. This plant contains a compound called lycorine which is responsible for its toxicity.
